|Single Wing Flying B, produced from 1930 to 1933. Made from brass and chrome plated. It sits on a domed base and stands some 65mm high. Notice the steam valve below the cap. Reproductions are known to exist, it is however unusual to find them with the correct steam valve and on an original Derby Bentley internal threaded radiator cap. |
A limited number of single winged flying Bs were introduced for the Mk V Bentleys, created by Charles Sykes. It is believed to have been entered into a competition organized by Rolls-Royce to find a suitable mascot to adorn their Rolls-Royce built Bentley cars.
