Brockway Trucks introduced the chrome plated Husky Dog in 1958. This chrome plated version was used until 1962, at which time it was replaced with a gold plated version to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The gold plated version continued until 1977, the year that saw Brockway Trucks cease trading. It is made from die-cast zinc and marked Brockway on the later versions. Brockway Trucks were part of the large Mack Truck empire from the years 1956 to 1977. |
