|Boyce motometer with a Buick dial insert. This one would have been for a very large Buick touring-model automobile. The cap, which is made in brass and nickel plated, the motometer and the swimmer topper, stand some 10-1/4" tall. The wings are 12-1/8" tip to tip. The cap is a flip-top.
The orange and white marble ball, above the initial S, is part of the latch mechanism to secure the cap. The motometer is 3" in diameter and it is also nickel plated. The swimmer is wearing an old fashioned swimsuit, similar to the Jantzen swimmer on the 1926 to 1927 Chevrolet cap.
