Rarely seen in mascot books are examples made in Australia. The most likely ones you will find are Kookaburras and Kangaroos.
I have also seen mascots of Ned Kelly, Phar Lap, and a swift on a ball. This latter mascot was marked Ogilvie, Sydney. The Beacon lighthouse, which includes a thermometer, is believed to be the mascot of Ronaldson & Tippett in Ballarat.
One of the most unique mascots seen was that of a Tasmanian devil on an Itala car in Tasmania.
