Designer, William Schnell of Detroit. used on the Chevrolet for three years the original cap was threaded in 1930 and 1931 a bayonet fitting was used. Patent filed on May 20th 1929, granted on the 19th of November 1929. The bayonet fitted mascot can be found on this site. |
