This is of one of our (John & Henri) favourites! It is a 1926 to 1927 Chevrolet cap and mascot, complete with a Boyce 2-1/4", nickel plated motometer with a Chevrolet dial insert.
The motometer topper is a Jantzen Knitting Mills of Portland, Oregon, topper. Jantzen were a very famous swimsuit manufacturer in the US from the 1920s through to the 1960s. This was originally an advertising piece and has its original paint. |
