Jaguar, produced from 1937 to 1951.  Early jaguar mascots were made from bronze and then chrome plated, later versions were made from mazac, a cheap pot-metal that was prone to major pitting and loss of detail.  The early mascots were fitted to the SS models, later to become the MK V.  This mascot was approved by William Lyons and stands on a pear-shaped base, designer, F. Gordon Crosby.  Some are signed F Crosby.
