| This site provides a pictorial reference of the many and varied car mascots, motoring badges and motometers that are available to the collector. It also provides information about the makers and, where available, the dates of manufacture. You will also find lists of car mascot manufacturers, such as Lalique, Lejeune and Desmo, a brief history of both the AA (Automobile Association) and RAC (Royal Automobile Club). Also included is a short text describing the achievements of F.R. Simms, who some call The Father of the British Motor Industry. Use the navigation buttons on the left to move around the site. A search facility is always available at the top of the screen, use this to quickly search Mascot Mania. The site looks best at a resolution of 1024x768, but is usable at resolutions of 800x600 or higher. Mascot Mania is a graphically intensive site - with some large photographic images - so please be patient whilst pages download.
