Accessory Mascots

Animals - Other:  Monkey Wearing Goggles.

A 1920s British mascot depicting a Monkey wearing driving goggles.  Marked around the base Joko and signed Brunswick.  It is made from silver plated gunmetal and stands 100mm high.

When this mascot was first produced, Brunswick named it after JoJo the popular simian performer in P T Barnum's Circus.  However Barnum's Circus refused permission for the name to be used, so the lettering was changed to JOKO, as it appears on this example.
