A French motometer, unfortunately no manufacturer is identified. It is made from brass with chrome plating and is 2-1/8" in diameter. It has a glass-enamel disk insert for the Salmson Automobile. The distributor - Societe Des Moteurs Billancourt - is also marked on the disk.
The flying goose is an aftermarket attachment, made from die-cast zinc and chrome plated. It is mounted on a brass, chrome plated dog-bone style radiator cap. I believe the mascot was made by Faith Mfg. Co. of Chicago, Illinois. |
