French Factory Mascots

Manufacturer:  Unic 1905 To 1930s.  Centaur Drawing A Bow.

A mid 1920s French silver plated bronze, signed F Bazin.  A Mythical creature, half man and half horse.  Produced in very limited numbers, this is a rare factory mascot.  The Unic Automobiles were first introduced in 1905 by Georges Richard.  Georges Richard left the Brasier company and his partnership with Henri Brasier to build his own cars.  The then agents for the cars in Great Britain were:  Unic Motors Limited, 16 to 18 Brewer Street, Buckingham Palace Road, London S W.
