Glass Mascots

Persons Majestic Company:  American Horses Head.

1930s, Longchamps.  This yellow green tinted glass mascot was sold as a direct rival to the French Longchamp of R Lalique.  It was produced by the Persons Majestic Company Worcester Massachusetts and sold in 1932 for $25 dollars through the retail chain of Nil Mellor 119 West 57th Street New York.  As with all pre-war glass mascots it is now valued at considerably more than that, and has now become a real collectors item.
