|1925, This metal composition mascot of a French Dancer was known as Folle Allure in France and signed to the base Le Verrier. Height 170mm by 180mm. |
The bottom picture is an extract taken from the Tanquary catalogue showing a very similar mascot known as Daphne and marked Tanquray and with the copyright symbol being sold in Los Angeles by the American company Tanquary, whose owner was Neal Tarquary,. The company supplied lots of mascots, I don't know if the American mascot was a direct copy of the French one but suspect it was, also worth noticing the F Bazin Swallow in the catalogue.
