Mid 1920s Chrome plated twin-wing Pegasus, a Greek mythical figure of a shining white horse with wings. The creature was said to be the result of an ill-fated mating between Greek Gods Medusa and Poseidon.
Manufactured by the Austrian company Ditmar and carrying their logo in the centre. Ditmar was a well-known producer of children's toys and radiator mascots of the period. Pegasus stands some five inches high. |
