Goddesses & Nymphs:  Conqueror Of The Road.

Late 1920s, this British mascot of a winged nymph holding a shooting star was known as Conqueror Of The Road and shown in A E Lejeune's illustrated catalogue of 1931.

Mounted on a Boyce motometer that is showing a pair of wings with the letters H M.  Made from bronze with a chrome or nickel plated finish and marked around the base Copyright AEL.
