Glass Mascots

Persons Majestic Company: Eagle's Head.

Eagle's Head, clear and frosted glass mascot.  This yellow green tinted glass mascot was sold as a direct rival to the French Eagle's Head of R Lalique.  It was produced by the Persons Majestic Company Worcester Massachusetts and sold in 1932 for 25 dollars through the retail chain of Nil Mellor 119 West 57th Street New York.  As with all pre-war glass mascots it is now valued at considerably more, and has now become a collectors item in its own right.

Persons Majestic Company, Worcester Massachusetts USA, molded around the base.  It is often found with a chrome plated mounting collar, this was available as an optional extra with the purchase.  Dimensions are approximately six inches or 150 mm High.
