1925 to 1940 French. This mascot was designed for the a prestigious Paris automobile dealership Banville and was designed and signed by Auscher. The mascot was named Figure de Proue (Figurehead). This used to be a fairly common mascot but they are now becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly with the Banville Garage markings. It did make a comeback in 1945 and was for sale as an accessory, however those were not of a very high quality. |
