Celebrity Figures:  Till Eulenspiegel - Prankster.

1920s, Solid bronze with original patina mascot of the Germany character Till Eulenspiegel.  Prankster, fool, joker, words often used to describe the legendary Till Eulenspiegel.  A collection of tales about this fictional character were first published anonymously in the form of joke books, in 1511 in Strassburg, Germany.  The 95 stories describe him getting into trouble by tricking kings, priests, landlords, shopkeepers, and any other form of authority, generally by taking their statements too literally.  This rare standing Till Eulenspiegel is approximately, 5.25 inches high with a base diameter of 2.5 inches.
