Miscellaneous:  Victory Temperature Gauge.

1930s French twin winged temperature gauge and mascot known as Victory.  Advertised in the 1934-35 French company Mestre & Blatge 46-48 avenue de la Grande Armée, Paris, catalogue.  The temperature tube is showing red at the top, it would be showing red at the bottom if it was in working condition, up to the first slot or groove, the second and third grooves are for normal working and the top groove for over heating.  The chain arrangement fastened to the cap was to act as an anti-theft device and also to avoid dropping the mascot and cap onto the floor whilst filling the radiator, also sold in America by Stanco.
