Male Figures:  1920s Six Armed Mahakala.

1920s marked around the base Made In Austria, Real Bronze.  often mistaken as a Buddha, this is a six hand beetle back Black Tibetan Mahakala who's duties are the protection of all Tibetan Buddhism and Temples.  Buddhism is a widespread Asian religion or philosophy, that was founded by Siddartha Gautama who lived around 2,500 years ago in India.  The word Buddha is a title and not a name and was derived from Sanskrit an ancient and sacred language of the Hindus in India.  A Buddha is a person who has achieved the spiritual state of bodhi meaning the awakening one.
