Miscellaneous:  1918 Knight errant.

1918, British mascot on a dog bone radiator cap of a Knight errant, chivalrously wandering the roads.  These mascots when fitted were based on the medieval knightly system with its religious, moral, and social code.  The combination of qualities expected of an ideal knight was courage, honour, courtesy, justice, readiness to help the weak and a courteous behaviour especially towards women.
