Glass Mascots

Etling:  Art Deco Nude - c1933.

Deepest blue/amber opalescent glass car mascot.  A wonderful Art Deco nude with her arms raised holding open her translucent drapery was crated by by Lucile Sevin in 1932.  This is a fabulous piece with the moulded Etling France and numbered 50 on the side of the base.  Edmond Etling company was founded after the First World War and was responsible for many popular ornaments in the interim war years.  Etling's retail shop was situated in the hart of Paris at 29 rue du Paradis, from where this pieces would have been sold.  Seen here mounted on a Vehicle Radiator to Glass mount, alsoon on a wood base.  Overall height, approximately 11.5 inches the mascot is approximately 9 inches tall.
