| No 1, Fords New model A rolled off the production line on the 20th of October 1927 and is so doing was an official replacement for model T after production stopped on the 26th May 1927. As it predecessor the model T had lovingly been nicknamed Tin Lizzie the model A was also nicknamed the Baby Lincoln. I don't know if the mascot was officially fitted to the model A or if it was more of a fun thing like the UKs Austin Seven Dummy. |
