Infant Figures:  Large Sitting Kewpie.

A rare 1920s nickel bronze Sitting Kewpie mascot on dog-bone radiator cap.  This is possibly the largest Kewpie mascot that was available at 5.75 inches tall not including the radiator cap.  In 1909 artist Rose O'Neill first showed illustrations of her Kewpies dolls in the December issue of Woman’s Home Companion an American monthly publication, Kewpie was an immediate success.  Much has been written regarding this visionary lady who touched the hearts of millions of Americans.
