Accessory Mascots

Animals - Horses:  1920s Pegasus.

Mid 1920s silver plated twin-wing Pegasus, a Greek mythical figure of a shining white horse with wings.  The creature was said to be the result of an ill-fated mating between Greek Gods Medusa and Poseidon.  This mascot is shown in the Mestre & Blatge 46 - 48 Avenue de la Grande-Armée also 5 Rue Brunel and 6 Rue Denis-Poisson Paris catalogue and listed as Cheval translating to Horse.  These mascot with the large hole are normally fitted onto a radiator cap with a Motor meter, signed to the base, sadly I can't make it out.
