British Factory Mascots

Manufacturer:  Rolls-Royce Cars 1904 to date.  The God Apollo.

This mascot was one of several designs offered by Charles Sykes the creator of the Rolls-Royce 'Spirit of Ecstasy' and was submitted to Rolls-Royce for a radiator ornament for fitment to their 1933 Derby Bentley, however the single wing flying 'B' was finally accepted and a few were produced.  This mascot with the correct provenance and signed C.Sykes is a unique item.  It was sold through one of the large auction houses and at the time of the sale there was much interest from around the world.
