Aeroplanes:  1936 Wellington Bomber.

The Wellington was a medium bomber designed by the famous Barnes Wallis just prior to the start of World War II.  It was widely used in the first two years of the war, before being replaced by much larger designs like the Avro Lancaster Bomber.  The Wellington was capable of flying with heavy battle damage.  First flew in June 1936 with 11,460 eventually being built, sadly not many are flying today.
